At the 15th Peak Performer Kids Camp powered by “meine Volksbank Raiffeisenbank eG,” we supported the foundation on August 30 and 31, 2025, at the Chiemgau Arena in Ruhpolding, Upper Bavaria. Amid the stunning backdrop of the Bavarian Alps, around 100 children experienced two days full of movement, inspiration, and personal development – under the motto: Play, Fun, and Real Role Models.
The kids enjoyed a diverse program that went far beyond sports activities: mental and cognitive sessions also played a major role. A real highlight was the biathlon arena, where Magdalena Neuner, biathlon legend and patron of the Peak Performer Foundation, together with Fritz Fischer, Simon Schempp, and other top coaches, gave the children firsthand insight into what made them elite athletes.
But that was not all: other sports could also be tried – including Blackroll training with snowboard pro Ramona Hofmeister, a fitness course with track and field athlete Aleksandar Askovic, or basketball with player Jannick Jebens. Particularly popular was the teamwork station, which brought the kids closer together, as well as the Skillcourt, which demanded not only quick reactions but also full concentration. Another highlight: climbing in the nearby high ropes course with extreme athlete Anja Blacha, complemented by inspiring talks that encouraged courage and opened new perspectives.
The camp was aimed at children aged 10 to 14 and placed great importance on providing an unforgettable experience for everyone, regardless of background, physical condition, or athletic ability. In addition to sporting challenges, the focus was on imparting core values and personal development. The children learned that it’s not just about physical performance, but about attitude, team spirit, and a positive mindset – the foundation for achieving great things through their own efforts.
The 15th Peak Performer Kids Camp was a complete success, leaving lasting impressions, valuable experiences, and plenty of fun for everyone involved.
